Abstract
This article discusses the search for extraterrestrial life and the study of meteorites for evidence of biological activity. The article highlights the difficulty of excluding contamination of meteorites after they land on Earth. However, the article cites a report that organic compounds found in meteorites are not the products of living organisms but were likely formed spontaneously. The article concludes that there is no evidence to support the claim of a biotic origin for organic compounds in meteorites. The article affirms the position of Biblical Christianity, which accepts scientific data but rejects atheistic interpretations of that data.
