Abstract

Focuses on the Lewis overthrust in Glacier National Park, where a block of Pre-Cambrian limestone appears to rest on top of younger Cretaceous shales. The author suggests that the conventional explanation, which requires the limestone to have been pushed over the shale, is difficult to believe and proposes that the limestone was originally deposited on top of the shale. The article concludes by advocating for further research on "thrust faults" from the perspective of Flood geology.
