Abstract
This article explores the notion of whether the Bible can be considered a science textbook. Armstrong argues that because the Bible provides instruction and touches on subjects that fall under the domain of science, it can be defined as such, at least secondarily. He supports this claim by emphasizing that Scripture is inspired by God and is therefore authoritative and profitable, implying its truthfulness even when discussing scientific matters. The author also critiques interpretations of certain verses, particularly II Timothy 3:16, cautioning against translations that might diminish the Bible's divine inspiration and comprehensiveness, by showing in the Greek the verse refers to 'all' scripture.
