Abstract
This article highlights the Hoatzin bird as a challenge to evolutionary arguments. Frank Marsh focuses on the Hoatzin's wing claws, drawing a parallel to Archaeopteryx, often cited as a transitional form between reptiles and birds. Marsh suggests that because the Hoatzin is clearly a bird yet possesses similar wing structures, the Archaeopteryx should not necessarily be categorized as a reptile evolving into a bird.
